Liquid Architecture
The annual Liquid Architecture festival hosts a night of sound art/new music with International and National sound and performance artists. Liquid Architecture is now in its 11th year, with the festival taking place across Australia.
The duo Lionel Marchetti (France) & Yoko Higashi (Japan) perform an improvised butoh dance with electronic music. Lionel Marchetti is an apostle of "musique concrete" (as in "tape collage") in the age of the laptop.
His recordings document a broad spectrum of ideas, ranging from wild sonic attacks to ethereal "ambient" music. Yoko Higashi is a performer, vocalist, choreographer and dancer.
Joe Musgrove (Bris) has been recording and performing electronic and experimental music for the past 15 years.
