File_Error juxtaposes, transcends, transforms and illuminates the absurd and the everyday through sound and media.
Working across the fields of sound art and digital screen/media, File_Error draws from a wide range or source material and influences from field and urban recordings, found sound and vision to samples and electronics.
Recent bodies of work include "Deep North": an exploration and audio/screen meditation on the landscape of Far North Queensland, Western Queensland and Central Australia, and XP66, documenting auto-repairing processes and movements.
File_Error has an ongoing collaboration with indigenous artist Zane Saunders (www.zanesaunders.com), and he has collaborated with hybrid inter-media collective Bonemap (www.bonemap.com) on various projects and previously produced sound design for professional theatre company JUTE (www.jute.com.au).
He is the producer of On Edge, and currently working on new media works for On Edge including an audio tour on OtherCairns, and a range of online images and short video works.
