Cured Pink/Andrew McLellan

Growing up in tropical North-Queensland, Andrew McLellan began Cured Pink as an outlet for his domestic sonic experiments, made against a soundscape of rainforest insects, audible heat and the tourist industry.

Living as an artist in Brisbane for the last four years since leaving Cairns, Andrew has performed in sound sculpture events, improvisation-based composition concerts, noise-collaborative recordings and has had his studio work as engineer and performer released through prominent Australian independent labels. Cured Pink performs back in the hometown after a tour of Melbourne for a cassette release through noise label Sabbatical Recordings.
